Flying Dog Food To Help The Underserved
After yesterday’s incredible event we were back in the air to get food into the hands of those who cannot feed their pets. The The Humane Society of Somerset County reached out to us about their need to help serve their elderly and disabled community with a door to door no contact pet food delivery. People who cannot make it out could now receive food delivered right to their door.
No Dog Left Behind Pilot Brad Childs and No Dog Left Behind board member and wife Linda Childs loaded up the No Dog Left Behind Plane early this morning with Nutrish and flew southeast to Somerset Airport to deliver around 700 pounds of food.
The need to help is all over and we are committed to trying to help as many places as we can. Knowing that underserved communities are feeling the benefits of these efforts puts a smile on all our faces.
