PAART Pilot Pete Lehmann flew more than 1,100 miles to rescue 5 dogs and 9 cats that without our help faced an uncertain future. ❤️

The first leg of the trip was from Allegheny County Airport to Mount Airy in North Carolina. That’s where we met Mayberry 4 Paws, who prepared the 14 animals to find new homes!

Pete then flew to Buffalo, NY where we were greeted by Fort Erie Spca AND Welland & District Humane Society.

We had two life saving rescues happening at the same time, so we organized every detail to make sure all of these animals could be rescued!

We are so thankful these two wonderful organizations are able to give these animals a second chance at a new life!

If you are interested in any of these animals please contact the receiving shelters for information about adoption.
