The PAART Landplane traveled through several states to rescue 9 dogs and 10 cats from an overcrowded shelter.

PAART Land Pilots Craig Edwards and Edward Lewkowicz headed to North Carolina and stayed the night. They woke up at dawn to meet our friends at Mayberry 4 Paws to load up the animals.

Craig and Edward then drove to Buffalo, NY to meet two rescue groups from Canada, Fort Erie Spca Welland & District Humane Society. All 9 rescue dogs are large. It’s easy to find places for puppies, but much harder to place large dogs, especially over 50 pounds.

We are so thankful we could give these 19 animals a new start. Please contact the two receiving shelters if you are interested in adopting any of these adorable dogs and cats!
