They started the day in an overcrowded shelter in Arkansas and ended the day with a second chance in Pittsburgh. 24 cats flew with No Dog Left Behind Pilots Jonathan Plesset and Adrian Balister on a mission to give each one of them the chance to find a new life.
The cats started off at the Humane Society of The Ouachitas where pilot Jane Crowder loaded them up in her plane and flew north to Indiana to meet our pilots. On a tiny airport two planes converged with 24 special passengers on board. From there we took off and headed Beaver County where the Beaver County Humane Society was ready to open their doors to help these kitties find their furever homes.
A mission like this is such a a powerful example of teamwork. From Mesa, Arkansas to Beaver, PA…a link was formed over a shared love of animals. The friendships we make, and the amazing people we meet during these journeys, always restores our faith in goodness that is all around all of us. Great work everyone!!!
