33 dogs have a second chance thanks to No Dog Left Behind Landpilots David Stash and Lisa Thomas. Despite less than ideal weather, the two rescue susperstars set out on Monday morning for Martisville, VA where they spent the night in a local hotel to prepare for their rescue mission on Tuesday. 33 animals who needed to leave area shelters where they faced overcrowding where loaded into the No Dog Left Behind Landplane for a journey North to our friends at North Shore Animal League America.
After arriving in Long Island the team unloaded each dog, kissed them on the head, and watched as they began the next phase in their salvation as they prepare to go to their furever homes. Dave dedicated this mission to his beloved cat Kitty Cagney whom passed away after 22 year. It was a wonderful way to express his gratitude for an animal that was near and dear to his heart.
Great work you two…the No Dog Left Behind family is proud.
