61 dogs and puppies took the last train FROM Clarksville TN yesterday with Landpilot Captain Jim Moran and student pilot but no newbie to transport Mark Britton! Everyone arrived safely at Allegheny County Airport last night and were handed off to our friends at North Shore Animal League America in Long Island NY where they will find their forever homes! One little senior, a 13 year old pittie named Celine, stayed here in Pittsburgh. Celine was found running at large in Tennessee and it was discovered that she was chipped to our partner at Animal Friends here in the North Hills! They reached out for help to get her home and we were more than happy to pick her up too! Welcome back to Pittsburgh Celine – we’ve missed you!

Take a good look at these dogs. Look at these puppies. Healthy, adoptable precious lives who without our partners would have no options. Think about that. We can’t be more proud of our organization and especially our volunteers who are the ones who truly bring them from danger to safety and then beyond. Thank you to our friends at Precious Friends Puppy Rescue and Adoption for your lifesaving work – you guys rock! A special thank you to our rescue partner Cross Your Paws Rescue for sending Julia Eckenrode and Indy, to help offload the pups and show off Indy – a PAART dog who will be featured in a TV show coming up soon!
