21 dogs and 21 cats climbed aboard the NDLB van and headed to a chance at a brand new life this past weekend.
We met the team from Kentucky Saving Them Together, Inc.in Lexington, KY and then headed north to Empire Animal Rescue Society (EARS) in New York where they will be ready for adoption soon. Everyone works so hard to find options for these animals when it seems as though there are none. At times everyone involved in rescue hits a point of mental and physical exhaustion but they always find the strength to keep going. We are grateful for you all. 
Also a BIG thank you to our Mother and Daughter team, Sue and Maggie, who spent many hours on the road to get this crew to safety.
