The sun is out, the sky is clear, and 11 animals took the flight of a lifetime on their way to new beginning on the wings of our plane.
NDLB Pilots Jonathan Plesset and Pete Lehmann took to the sky for “The Return of the Air Team” to help fly animals from Danger to Safety.
The day began early with the first leg from Pittsburgh to Mt. Airy, North Carolina to meet the amazing folks at Mayberry 4 Paws and Tiny Tigers Rescue.
All 11 animals were perfect little angles, aside from some poop and some gas of course, and made the long trip from Mt. Airy to West Chester, PA.
After a bit of a “sporty” landing the pilots arrived at Brandywide Regional Airport where the Providence Animal Center was waiting to take these animals on the last leg of their journey to a forever home.
Thank you to all of the volunteers who made this incredible journey
