Its takes a village to give hope to animals that have run out of time. 16 dogs took to the sky on a special mission about hope and second chances. No Dog Left Behind Pilots Jonathan Plesset and Rebecca Mihalcik flew over 500 miles during a two stop day long rescue. The team departed Allegheny County Airport and headed south to Morehead, Kentucky to meet Tonya Spencer with the Wolfe County Animal Shelter. There they loaded up 16 dogs for the flight north to Port Meadville where they met Pals4Pets Rescue Inc where 15 of these animals would be going. For the second leg one special passenger stayed with the team. Broodo is an 11 year old sheep dog that lived tied up with a family who eventually gave him up when they wanted to move and get married. He was matted, dirty, but filled to the brim with love. He formed a special bond with our pilots who flew him back to Pittsburgh to meet Senior Hearts Rescue & Renewal where this lovable guy will be looking to finish out his life with someone special. This mission was sponsored and made possible by the Upper St. Clair Tennis Club and Jannis Finn who raised the money possible to make this rescue mission a reality. Thank you to these incredible donors who helped give hope to 16 animals.
