Kids from Whitehall Elementary School are making a BIG difference for some lucky dogs in Kentucky.
No Dog Left Behind is often in Kentucky, because shelters are overcrowded. Students, teachers and families from Whitehall Elementary School held an amazing donation drive for No Dog Left Behind. They collected food, bowls, toys, blankets, treats and more!
Land pilots Mark Britton and Maria Wisser drove to West Liberty, Kentucky with all the donations to make some dogs very happy! They got a good night’s rest and woke up bright and early to meet our friends at the Morgan Co Animal Shelter. They loaded up 13 dogs from Morgan County and Wags to Riches.
The No Dog Left Behind team drove back to Pittsburgh and met with Cross Your Paws and Action for Animals who are thankfully taking in these precious pups!
This mission is in honor of our friends at the Whitehall Elementary School. Special thanks to Karen Feitl (a No Dog Left Behind volunteer) and Michelle Viola for getting this all together.
Please contact Cross Your Paws or Action for Animals if you want to adopt any of these dogs!
