Our life-saving efforts extended to a smaller animal this weekend. We saved 9 guinea pigs!
No Dog Left Behind landpilots Kim Schaeffer and Tammy Trasatti picked up the piggies from Wheek Care Guinea Pig Rescue. These guys had a rough start after a few were abandoned and a few were part of a terrible hoarding case in Ohio, but thanks to Wheek Care they are all happy and healthy!
Our team then headed to Breezewood, PA to meet Metropolitan Guinea Pig Rescue. This amazing group took these guinea pigs to DC to hopefully find forever homes. We hear they have some big personalities!
