We are in the midst of responding to an emergency overcrowding situation at a shelter in Virginia. We have a team arriving today along with this team that arrived yesterday. 6 dogs were loaded up along the way as the team headed to another rescue mission within this same trip. 41 animals are now safely in the hands of North Shore Animal League America where they now have gone from Danger to Safety thanks to No Dog Left Behind Pilots Jennifer Trancraitor and Megan King.
The mission set off early Monday morning when the team set out for the Pulaski County, VA Animal Control who put the call out that they were over capacity. Our team was on its way to the Martinsville Henry County SPCA to help clear that shelter and made a stop along the way. 41 dogs in total were loaded into the Landplane and the team headed to North Shore’s facility on Long Island. It was a 1500 miles journey to help 41 animals find their second chance thanks to two incredibly dedicated hero’s, Megan and Jennifer, who went above and beyond to help. We are speechless…
All of these animals are all going to be available for adoption soon from North Shore. Please contact them for information.
