Ten years ago one dog on our very first rescue flight inspired us to strive for a simple mission, to save the lives of animals in danger while enriching the lives of people. We started in a tiny airplane with just enough room for a few dogs. Along the way we grew as pilots, expanded as a team, and learned the power of believing in a dream. A few months ago the Rachael Ray Foundation helped our team realize a goal 10 years in the making, a plane large enough to transport 20, 30, 40 animals a time.
Because of your help and support we are thrilled to show you the new PAART Airvan. We are busy training and learning this new machine. As we start off on this journey we want to thank the thousands of people who have supported our team along the way. We are humbled and excited to embark on this next chapter for the Pittsburgh Aviation Animal Rescue Team. Thank you everyone. Now lets go save some animals!!!!!
