17 animals, 12 dogs and 5 cats, are waking up to a new beginning with hope where there was once despair. Landpilots Jim Moran and Lisa Watkins headed down to Pulaski Animal Care and Control on Tuesday and spent the night in an area hotel. Early yesterday morning they woke up with one purpose, rescue 17 animals and be the bridge between danger and safety. With a full load they headed north east to the Adams County SPCA where these 17 animals have a much greater chance of finding their furever homes.
Its these kinds of trips, helping smaller shelters with free transport, that warms our hearts. Animals that would have been another sad statistic now on their way to writing a new happy story filled with hope and second chances. Animals deserve our help. Its the support of you, the person reading this post, that gives our team the resources to make these life saving trips. Thank you for helping these animals that are near and dear to our hearts!
