7 dogs had run out of time and their only chance was a trip by air four states away with the No Dog Left Behind Air Team. Pilots Jonathan Plesset, Kurt Lesker, and Pete Lehmann flew a double mission today from Jamestown, KY to Batavia, NY. At 7am Pete and Kurt jumped in the No Dog Left Behind Plane for the first leg of the flight. The two pilots flew down to Kentucky, loaded up the 7 dogs, and flew back to Pittsburgh where Jonathan jumped in and took over for Kurt and flew the last leg to NY along with Pete. 7 dogs that would not have lasted the weekend have the second chance they needed with a little help from the No Dog Left Behind Team. Great job pilots. Way to work as a team.
