42 animals, 10 Cats and 32 Dogs, woke up this morning with a second chance thanks to No Dog Left Behind Lanpilots Kim Lenz and Lisa Thomas. The duo left late Monday night for Martinsville Henry County SPCA. After spending the night in a hotel they woke up early to meet these incredible animals. Some of these dogs and cats come from rural shelters, city pounds, and places where they had very little hope for a future. Our partners at Martinsville helped us load the animals up so Kim and Lisa could head north to meet North Shore Animal League America where these animals will have the resources and population density needed to find their furever homes quickly. Over 1200 miles driven in two days. Incredible dedication by our amazing army of volunteers.
