30 dogs boarded the Landplane each with a story that just melts your heart. Landpilots Teresa Gamble and John Busin made the trip from Pittsburgh to Kentucky this weekend to meet teams from Tunica HumaneSociety and Helping Hands For Animals. Dogs that were victims of abuse, hoarding, and sometimes just unwanted, all resurrected by the compassion of many people who want to see them get their second chance.
A group of these dogs were a part of a special program in a Kentucky prison where inmates train the animals. The trained animals are given free of charge to military vets by a Pals4Pets. Its a very special program that we are thrilled to help support. Second chances is a part of our core mission and in this case it can apply to both the animals and to people. Great work John and Teresa!
