“Don’t you just wanna keep them?” This is the question we get asked all the time. Every now and then though it happens 🙂 11 dogs who had run out of time in a shelter made a special life saving journey thanks to PAART Landpilots Melissa Morris and Kara McCaffrey. Departing from our home base in Pittsburgh, after meeting up with a team from Mayberry 4 Paws, Melissa and Kara first headed north to the SPCA Jefferson County. After unloading a few dogs they met up with the Fort Erie SPCA in Canada.
During the trip Melissa fell in love with one of the dogs. Jazzy needed a second chance. A new home. Melissa could not let Jazzy go so she arranged to adopt while on the road. Jazzy came back with Melissa and Kara and we “suffered” another PAART rescue failure 🙂 Its good to fail!
