The journey continues. 6 dogs arrived safely to Pittsburgh tonight thanks to Landpilots Lynda Manko and Laura Fruehan. These amazing animals epic journey from South Korea to Pittsburgh is now complete. The dogs are a product of a meat farm system that lets animals suffer in intolerable conditions with the end result being slaughtered for consumption. Its beyond comprehension that animals who are domesticated end up in such deplorable circumstances. Humane Society International worked on the ground in S. Korea to free these animals and get them to the United States. Our team has been on the road, back and forth to Washington, DC, to give these animals the last push they need on their second chance journey.
By the time we arrived here in Pittsburgh a few minutes ago we got word that one of our passengers was already adopted in Maryland. Lynda and Laura handed over the keys to Team 3 along with this lucky animal who gets a solo trip tonight to his furever home. Team 3 will drive through the night to make the delivery and await the next batch of dogs in the morning. Its been a long few days for our Landpilots, especially Lynda and Laura, but the team is energized by your likes, your comments, and your shares. They all thank you, our FB community, for the love and support. Stay tuned, the rescue begins again early in the morning. Goodnight…
