45 dogs that days ago would have been euthanized are on their way to a second chance thanks to PAART Landpilots Jackie Nixon and Theresa Bartoszewicz. These animals are rescued from all over the south by our friends at Martinsville Henry County SPCA. The team left yesterday for Virginia and today are on road to deliver the dogs to the worlds biggest no-kill shelter, and our good friends, North Shore Animal League America. PAART would like to take a moment to recognize these two shelters for the amazing job they do with these animals. Our goal is to see animals in danger go to safety. Both of these shelters go out of their way, most of the time behind the scenes, to give dogs and cats the second chance they deserve. Thank you Martinsville and North Shore!
All of these animals will be available in the the coming days from North Shore. Please direct all questions about adoption to them. They would be happy to help arrange for you to adopt one the animals you see from this trip.
