Pilots Jonathan Plesset and Jeff Bonasso took 653DS to Bekley WV this morning to save 4 adorable puppies. The mission is part of a multi-plane rescue to get these puppies to Philadelphia. Pilot Jack Merritt teamed up for the Pittsburgh to Philly leg marking his debut on the No Dog Left Behind team. Landing was crosswind with 20kts wind and 27kts gusts. That’s pilot talk for “holy cr&p! That was scary”
Ironic that this mission falls on a holiday that celebrates rebirth. These puppies are now reborn to live on and enjoy a new and wonderful life. The No Dog Left Behind Team is expanding and our mission is gaining steam. Rebirth. A fitting message for us on this day. Help us continue to push forward so that one day we can help save all the animals that would have been forgotten.
