It started off with one dog. We were so amazed that it could be done. The feeling of euphoria when one animal was saved instantly hooked us. Then seven dogs at once. “Wow” we said, “I can’t believe we rescued seven dogs at once.” We were blown away. Then 30 dogs at once, “This surely is the all time record in which we will probably never top” we said to ourselves. Now we arrive here. On Tuesday the No Dog Left Behind Team embarked on its largest rescue of all time. 50 puppies, 10 cats, and 3 chihuahuas on one mission. 63 animals saved in all. This time we are not going to say we can’t possibly top that. Now we know. Now we understand that with the help of our network of friends, there is no limit, no top end. Maybe one day we can help save them all…
No Dog Left Behind Landpilots Lynda Manko and Laura Fruehan embarked on an epic 22 hour, two day rescue mission to give these animals hope. The team partnered up with the North Shore Animal League America, the worlds largest animal shelter, to make this happen. After driving over 1200 miles the ladies had completed their mission and returned home as heros.
