23 endangered Sea Turtles are home. Teams from Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium and No Dog Left Behind were in the Atlantic Ocean this morning after a 1000 mile trip. These Turtles have spent the last three months at the National Marine Life Center and The Pittsburgh Zoo as a part of their Second Chance programs. Due to cold waters and unfavorable conditions these endangered animals we found in New England, cold and on the verge of starvation. After an exhaustive rehabilitation the turtles were strong enough to be released back into the wild. No Dog Left Behind, as part of our new partnership with the Pittsburgh Zoo, sent our team down to Cape Canaveral with these 23 Turtles on board our Landplane. We are happy to show you the actual release.
