Two teams of volunteers, hundreds of miles driven, and now 41 dogs are safe!
No Dog Left Behind land pilots Craig Edwards and Tommy Talty started the rescue by heading to Portsmouth, Ohio. After a good night’s rest they made their way to Sierra’s Haven for New and Used pets to load up the pups. Dogs from Paris Animal Welfare Society and Menifee County Animal Shelter were also there to be loaded up!
Craig and Tommy drove to Belle Vernon, PA to meet our second team Mark Britton and Dana Foust. From there these furry friends went to St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center in Madison, New Jersey
to get their new start at life!
This mission is in honor of Mary Withrow who raised money for No Dog Left Behind for her birthday last month! Happy Birthday Mary!
