There’s nothing better than getting to look in an animal’s eyes and know their life is about to change!
No Dog Left Behind Land Pilots Craig Edwards and Dave Stash traveled to Kentucky in the No Dog Left Behind Landplane to help bring hope to 11 dogs. After spending the night dreaming about rescuing doggies they got up bright and early to help clear an over-crowded shelter.
All 11 dogs from came from the Morgan County Animal Shelter -West Liberty,Kentucky where a tireless group of people work long days to keep the shelter from being inundated with animals. One dog in the shelter named Trip was so badly neglected, law enforcement had to intervene. Luckily, Trip was part of our rescue and now there’s hope for a much brighter future.
Since it was such a long journey the teams switched midway through their journey and a new co-pilot took over with Dawn Molinaro boarding the No Dog Left Behind Landplane with Craig Edwards who went the whole way through.
Dawn and Craig made their way to Philadelphia where they these dogs will get a second chance at the Pennsylvania SPCA.
We are so thankful for our Land Team who spent long hours in the car making sure these animals went from danger to safety!
If you are interested in adopting any of these animals please contact the Pennsylvania SPCA.
