No Dog Left Behind Landplane Pilots Brittany Lewkowicz and David Albanese Rescue 38 Dogs, Puppies, Cats, and Kittens From West Liberty, Kentucky Bringing Them From Danger To Safety

This mission is in memory of William David Spencer, beloved father of Tonya Spencer, the shelter director at Wolfe County. He was a very well respected member of the community, loving father, grandfather, husband, and accomplished horseman. He was the family’s rock and will be deeply missed. Tonya, thank you for all that you do, we send our deepest sympathies.

Additionally, a special thanks to Landplane Pilots Brittany Lewkowicz and David Albanese for making the 700 mile round trip rescue mission to save these 28 dogs and 10 cats.

Thanks to such great organizations like Morgan County Animal Shelter, Wolfe County Animal Shelter, Wags to Riches, New Lease on Life, Bridge to Home, and Kitty Queen Cat Rescue, these 38 animals are getting the attention required and get a chance at a life happily ever after. When looking at such a substantial amount of animals, it takes a coordinated effort from so many to make sure that these animals are safe and in shelters that can take care of them.

This land mission saw the rescue 28 dogs and puppies and 10 cats and kittens, all from different walks of life. Some very interesting breeds were included on this mission and will be great additions to homes in need of a wonderful dog or cat.
