What does an Air Force Pilot do on his day off when he is not protecting our county? He helps give a second chance to 13 dogs whose only hope was a flight from danger to safety.

No Dog Left Behind Pilots Pete Lehmann and Brian Moody took flight yesterday on the No Dog Left Behind plane for Kentucky where 13 dogs were waiting, tails wagging, for our team. Brian is an Air Force pilot who joined No Dog Left Behind and made his first flight Sunday with Pete. The guys set off from the Allegheny County Airport and flew south to Morehead, KY where they met a dedicated crew from Wags to Riches, Wolfe County Animal Shelter, and the Morgan County Animal Shelter.

Pete and Brian loaded up and flew back to Pittsburgh where Bridge to Home Animal Rescue and Cross Your Paws were waiting to take these special animals. Each one will be loved, cared for, and adopted into their furever homes. Please visit those shelters and make one of these animals your newest companion. Thank you to everyone who made this happen and thank you Brian for your service to our country and to leaving No Dog Left Behind.
