What is the secret to No Dog Left Behind’s success? The volunteers. 17 people from our team wanted to enhance the way we transport. They want to be the best at what they do so they signed up to become animal certified in Pet First Aid and CPR just in case the unthinkable happens. It should be said again and again and again…we have the greatest team of volunteers. They go so much further than anyone else to make sure the animals we help are given the best possible chance. We are so lucky to have these people and are so grateful for their support.
Karen Sable of Pet Tech spent 5 hours certifying our volunteers this morning in Pet First Aid and CPR. It is a part of a program started by our very own Mary Kennedy Withrow called No Dog Left Behind University. These kinds of programs makes everyone on our team the best at what they do. Pet First Aid, CPR, animal handling skills, special methods for cleaning, these are all the kinds of skills you could learn if you join our team. Mary, along with our Operations Director Rachel Logan want to hear from you. Check out our website, www.nodogleftbehind.org for details on how to join us in leaving No Dog Left Behind.
