40 dogs took their second chance to a new beginning ride in our Landplane thanks to No Dog Left Behind Landpilots Melissa Garvin and Dessie Conway. The duo left Pittsburgh yesterday for Virginia to arrive at the Martinsvile-Henry SPCA. After spending the night they loaded up their precious cargo and departed to meet our friends at the worlds largest no-kill shelter, North Shore Animal League America. These animals were taken in from smaller rural animals where they don’t have the same chance to find their furever homes like they will at North Shore. Instead of becoming another sad statistic these animals have no gone from Danger to Safety thanks to team of compassionate people all working to leave No Dog Left Behind. Great work Melissa and Dessie. 1200 miles round trip is no easy feat.
