That bright streak going through the sky last night wasn’t an early Santa and his sleigh. It was No Dog Left Behind Pilot Dustin Peterson and his daughter Olivia who were giving 11 dogs an early Christmas gift of a second chance at a new life. Dustin met the Raleigh County Humane Society in Beckley, WV and loaded up these brave passengers for their flight from danger to safety. Once on board Dustin and Olivia flew to Morgantown, WV where they met pilot Jack Merritt for the dogs connecting flight that Jack piloted back to Greenmore Farm Animal Rescue. There these 11 will have the best chance to find their furever home. In the spirit of the holidays Dustin, Jack, and Olivia made this trip happen even in light of not so ideal flying conditions. Great work all. Happy Holidays everyone and special love to these 11 animals.
