20 cats are on are their way to a second chance thanks to No Dog Left Behind Landpilots Lynda Manko and Kevin Kautz. Today’s rescue was sponsored by Robin Benrstein. Without her generosity these kinds of missions could not take place and 20 cats would not have a tomorrow.
The team arrived in Belington, WV this morning to meet the incredibly dedicated folks at Animal Friends of Barbour County. These cats were throw aways, left to fend for themselves and suffer a life of uncertainty at a shelter. Instead of spay and neutering, people just let their animals breed, and when they give birth, they leave them at a shelter. Its unavoidable and unfortunate. Thankfully people like Lynda an Kevin are willing to drive for 14 hours to give these animals a second chance. These cats are on their way to North Shore Animal League America which has an incredible cat adoption program. The kitties are gonna be the lucky ones. There are so many more out there who need help.
