On a day that took on new meaning the No Dog Left Behind Team was proud to stand with our LGBT friends today during the Pride Parade in Downtown Pittsburgh. Our rescue “Landplane” participated in the parade with a float designed by our very own Lynda Manko. Lynda, and her family, worked tirelessly to help build the float and participate in the parade. Look closely, the person dressed up as a dog is Lynda’s son 🙂. We had rescue animals on the float courtesy of our friends at South Hills Pet Rescue and Resort who joined us on the float. Amazing turnout for a super cool event.
We offer our condolences to the families and friends of the courageous people who lost their lives today to another sensless mass shooting.
