11 dogs made the flight from danger to safety with No Dog Left Behind Pilots Brad Childs and Jonathan Plesset. On a sunny Sunday morning a flight to Moorhead, Kentucky was on the radar where hope was delivered to a mom who just gave birth to 7 puppies and 3 adult dogs who needed a chance outside the shelter.

We met our good friend Michele Coldwell from Helping Hands for Animals. With us on the way down was 400 pounds of dog food that was donated in Pittsburgh. We loaded up all 11 dogs in the Saratoga and flew back to the Allegheny County Airport where Cross Your Paws Rescue was waiting. All 11 dogs went to their facility in Irwin, PA where they will be available for adoption soon. Please contact them if you are interested.

Todays mission was sponsored by Anita Feitt in memory of her friend and co-worker R. Jeffrey Plesset. He was a man that loved animals but hated small airplanes. Jeff would been very excited to see these 11 dogs get a second chance, especially having known Brad when he was a young man and with son Jonathan at the controls. Thank you Anita! Great work everyone!
