21 dogs were flown to a new beginning thanks to PAART Pilots Jonathan Plesset and Brad Childs. Two set of mom’s and their pups, all with special circumstances, needed our help. Their story touched us and we knew we had to help.

The first mom had just given birth to a litter of pups when her owner took them to a shelter. The shelter could not take in these animals but the owner threatened to leave them in the parking lot. The second mom and her pups were found with severe malnutrition. A group of volunteers nursed them back to health and kept them in foster until a home could be found. PAART flew to Morehead, KY and met teams from Morgan County Animal Shelter -West Liberty,Kentucky and Wolfe County Animal Shelter.

This mission was special to our team since it was sponsored by our Pilot Jonathan’s mother, Andrea McCutcheon. Andrea, a passionate animal lover, instilled in Jonathan a love of animals that led to his passion to help animals which in turn inspired him to co-found PAART with friend and fellow pilot Brad. It was fitting that this mission was done to help moms by a mom who taught her child the importance of helping animals.
