A 13 year old Italian Greyhound named Gigi was in need of immediate life saving transport today and our air team stepped up to give hope to this beautiful animal. We got a call from Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center where Gigi was seeking treatment. Her time was running out and she needed a surgery that could not be performed at their location. Instead Gigi needed to get to Princeton, WV to a see a specialist who can save her.

No Dog Left Behind Pilot Pete Lehmann and girlfriend Annie Valdes boarded the No Dog Left Behind Plane and flew Gigi down this afternoon. Her surgery is scheduled for tomorrow and we will update you when we find anything out. Pray for Gigi. These types of missions are exactly why we fly.
