The backstories of the animals we save can be heartbreaking. The first pic here is of Dean. He was rescued from his owner after being witnessed being beat into the ground. Dean is a shy dog but with the right owner he will be a gem. Our team departed very early to meet our rescue partners The Paws Squad in WV to save 20 dogs. Landpilot’s Kevin Survinski and Carrie Gilardi are driving these lucky animals over 1000 miles today to Lancaster, PA and then back home. We are thrilled to see all of these animals receive a second chance and we are all particularly rooting for Dean. It is refreshing to know that so many people are here to help a dog like Dean. We got you big guy!
P.S. Today is Kevin Survinski’s birthday! Instead of celebrating he is out driving dogs. What a guy. Lets all wish him a happy birthday.
